BSc (Nutrition) MSc (Nutrition & Dietetics) 2018
Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD)
Accredited Nutritionist (AN)
Samantha is the first of our freshly arrived Nourish & Thrive dietitians and a mother of two with a passion for supporting people in understanding the impact nutrition and lifestyle change can have on a person’s life. First and foremost, Samantha sees herself as an educator, taking pride in sharing her expert knowledge and tailored approach to assist her clients in achieving their health and nutrition related goals.Â
Samantha graduated with a Masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2018 and has since been working in private practice. Prior to this she spent more than 9 years working as a disability support worker. She brings this extensive experience in the NDIS space into her dietetic practice through providing an empathetic, welcoming and client-centred approach.Â
Her wide ranging areas of interest include the management of disordered eating, body dysmorphia, tube feeding, gut health, and diabetes. She has completed Monash University Fodmap training giving her advanced skills in the management of IBS and is committed to completing her credential for the management of eating disorders this year. Her aim is to support her clients in improving their overall health through a non-diet, non-weight focused approach. We are pleased to have Samantha bring her unique set of skills to Nourish & Thrive and allow our adult service to grow and develop further.
When she is not wearing her dietitian hat, Samantha is spending time with her young family and enjoying walking her chihuahua along the lake.
