Nourish & Thrive is a team of Accredited Practising Dietitians/Nutritionists and a Registered Psychologist offering neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed nutrition, feeding and psychological support.


We work with children, adults and families, including NDIS participants, across Campbelltown, Camden and the wider Macarthur region. Our approach is collaborative, weight-neutral and grounded in evidence.


Each of our dietitians has particular specialty areas and experience to offer. When you call to book an appointment, we will help you be matched with the dietitian best suited to your needs.

Nutrition for Health & Wellbeing

We understand and appreciate how confusing it can be to navigate the range of readily available nutrition information out in the world. Our dietitians help you to understand how your body works, blend this with evidence-based nutrition information and help you make decisions that support you to gently reach your personal health goals.

Gut Health & Nutrition

Nourish & Thrive dietitians are passionate about gut health, with our adult dietitians having completed additional specialist training from Monash University in the Low FODMAP diet for Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

  • The Low FODMAP diet

Undernutrition & Malnutrition

Our Accredited Practising Dietitians are trained to identify and treat malnutrition, utilising validated malnutrition screening and assessment tools, including MST, SGA and paediatric SGNA. Malnutrition is more likely in certain groups of people and we are always alert to this possibility.

Psychology

Our psychologist Amanda supports young adults (18-35 years) with:


  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • ADHD

  • Autism

  • Relationship concerns

  • Social skills building

  • Adjustment to life transitions (eg: starting university, work, family)

  • Work or study stress

  • Eating disorders & body image Concerns

  • Chronic health conditions such as IBS, food allergies, coeliac disease, endometriosis.


Treatment modalities Amanda uses in her support of adults include:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
