We are thrilled to introduce our newest team member and psychologist, Amanda. Amanda joins us as a HAES aligned, neurodiversity affirming and trauma informed therapist. She brings to the Nourish & Thrive team an ability to collaboratively support clients with a range of mental health concerns, and most importantly, eating disorders including ARFID.
Amanda is a registered psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australia and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED). She has a deep passion for walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate some of life's most challenging and transformative moments.
Amanda has over 10 years' experience supporting children, adolescents and young adults and brings both professional expertise and heartfelt care. She has a special interest in supporting individuals with eating, feeding and body image concerns. In addition to this she has extensive experience supporting children, adolescents and young adults with anxiety and depression - in particular those who are neurodivergent.
